Design & Construction

In our construction department with its staff of 6 we can develop within a short time customised blister packs to meet the highest demands.
State-of-the-art CAD systems combined with our many years of experience in construction and aesthetics make us ideally equipped to visualise your models.
The package is an integral part of your product. Functionality, user-friendliness and feasibility of production are very important to us. On the computer screen we can detect critical points immediately, so it is still easy to change them. Employing rapid prototyping methods and the existing 3D CAD data, we can quickly generate real samples using the actual materials.
The 3D CAD data are also used in our modern tool making facilities to create tools for series production, such as thermoforming and punching tools, as well as sealing tools.

Tool making

The 3D CAD data from the construction department are used to manufacture sample tools, thermoforming tools for series production, and sealing tools and machine parts for our heat-sealing machines.
State-of-the-art processing centres are capable of milling the most complex of moulds, and work at high speeds to produce the finest finishes. Air holes are manually produced in the finish, and surfaces are glass-bead blasted and edges polished. The moulds are thoroughly cleaned before setup. Each sealing tool is coated with a scratchproof, non-adhesive substance, and then tested.
In our machine setup area our heat-sealing machines, punching machines and other special machines are assembled and tested.

Because we are a manufacturer and supplier of blister packs with sealing lids made of Tyvek®, and also a service provider (contract packaging), we have an intimate knowledge of the demands made on universal packaging machines.Designed specifically for the medical industry, we have developed clean room-compliant packaging machines that provide the best mix of price and performance. The range of machines offers a large variety of options, so they can deliver most of what you would expect of a universal packaging machine that offers rapid tool change.
Standard machines can be delivered very quickly, and include the necessary tools and qualification documentation.
By working with MEDIPACK AG the customer has an exclusive partner for medical blister packs, sealing lids, and packaging machines:
All from one provider, for a functioning overall system, guaranteed!

Thermoforming Film

Thermoforming Film MEDPETG 6763In order to meet the ever more stringent requirements in terms of the cleanliness, production conditions and traceability of raw materials, we have started our own production of PETG film.
With the specialisation in the use of PETG will greatly improve product quality as there are no foreign particles in the system, thus ensuring complete line clearance.
The most important elements of the extrusion process are automated so that even small ultra-high-quality production runs to the tightest tolerance margins are possible. In order to protect the PETG film from contamination, the process runs under controlled conditions in a clean-room cabin.
Film qualities:
MEDPETG 6763 – Premium Line
100 % virgin material, NO use of edge trims, NO use either of process-recovered material.

MEDPETG 6763 – Medical Standard
The unavoidable edge strips caused by the process are regranulated for dustfree reintegration in the middle layer up to a maximum proportion of 20 %. The two outer layers consist of 100 % virgin material.

MEDPETG 6763 – R Line
The amount of edge strips that are permitted to be integrated in the film is specified in liaison with the customer. This proportion determines the price of the film and may be between 20 % and 100 % in all layers.
