Anti Bacterial/ Bactericidal Medical Tubing

Here we demonstrate “Antibacterial/Bactericidal Medical Tubing”
realized by our developed formula (patent pending).

Antibacterial/Bactericidal Medical Tubing can be manufactured
either by using conventional mass production tools or by 3D printing.
Antibacterial/bactericidal Medical Tubing exhibits significant
suppression (5 log reduction) of biofilm formation on the surfaces of
tubing with an addition of a small amount of natural bactericidal
agents.

Our formula is not limited to the medical tubing, but can be applied to
many other applications, including zero-residue container, precise
drug delivery, etc.

Advanced urine test strip design with timer for accurate analysis by smartphone camera in various lighting environments

Urinalysis is performed by comparing the colors of the test strips using a reference sheet attached to the bottle. Instead of a tabular format that is difficult to use and prone to visual errors, especially in various lighting conditions, we present a new array of reference arrays for urine test strips (urinalysis).

Reference color swatches are grouped into a donut chart surrounding each reagent pad on the strip for more accurate analysis using a smartphone camera. Since fresh urine within 1-3 minutes is required, a visual timer is also provided for more accurate analysis

Magnetic Robot and Navigation System To Treat Vascular Disease

To overcome the limitations of the conventional catheterization process, we have developed multifunctional magnetic robots and a magenetic navigation system(MNS).

First, the magentic robots can actively control their motions and precisely deliver force and torque at their distal end by utilizing external magnetic field generated by a magentic nvagation system. Therefore, the success rate and precision of the operation can be significantly increased.

Second, medical doctors can remotly manipulate the magnetic robots in an operation room using the control station of the magnetic navigation system. This remote manipulation eliminates the radiation hazards, which is a critical health issue for medical doctors.

Third, the multifunctional magnetic robots can selectively perform multiple functions(Steering, tunneling, drug and stent delivery, etc.) in one integrated platform device. It can innovatively minimize operation process and time which increases the quality of life for both patients and medical doctors.
