The life of the fragile patient takes place for the longest time on the bed; VALIAMO - which produces and distributes hospital beds and furniture - has therefore caught the need to innovate and give value to the bed itself, which then becomes a powerful connected monitoring system, able to continuously detect the vital parameters of the guest, intercept any signs of deterioration of his health, in order to improve the quality of life of people: patients, medical and nursing staff, and family members.
VALIAMO introduces advanced devices on the bed, equipped with artificial intelligence and nanotechnology that monitor the patient's life, and communicate wirelessly with doctors and nurses.
ANGELO® - this is the name of the VALIAMO device - is a system of sensors located in the bed structure, and therefore without direct contact with the patient, able to keep constantly under control:
•the heart rate
•respiratory rate
•body temperature,
•blood oxygenation and blood pressure,
•the onset of repiratory or covid pathologies
•movement and quality of sleep
•fall prevention: checking every attempt to get the patient out of bed, and warning if the patient does not return to bed within a predetermined time.
•prevention of decubitus complications by verifying the rotation of the body on the back and hips, or on the wrong side
•the prediction of seizures or impending cardiovascular complications,
•the presence of strangers by the bed
These parameters, constantly monitored by the Artificial Intelligence 24 hours a day, warn staff in advance if there are any anomalies that could soon lead to complications, in order to intervene immediately, that is, to prevent the occurrence of more serious problems.
The intelligent bed will be able to communicate with the health care staff thanks to a system of certified algorithms, launching warnings and alerts in the presence of situations that the system will deem particularly risky.
The monitoring and alarm functions are then stored on a secure and privacy-compliant cloud system and will be able to generate statistics and reports useful for diagnostics and the choice of the appropriate medication.
ANGELO® records in real time the product alerts and patient parameters, the response of the facilities and elaborates metrics to measure and analyze each result, thus integrating the hospital's risk management plans.
The interactions between guest, operator and each single event are recorded with reference to:
- the trend of vital parameters
- health deterioration risk reports
- Fall risk assessment reports
- the parameters and other data that preceded individual past events, so as to prevent future ones
- management of the time and frequency of intervention by health personnel

DIAMANTE is a series of VIP beds designed to improve patient mobilization and reduce the effort that operators have to make. The Top is made of completely Radiolucent and removable Phenolic Material which allows excellent cleaning and disinfection even by immersion. The sides, shoulders and bed base have been designed with reduced spaces to prevent patient entrapment, in compliance with the standard for hospital beds CEI EN 60601-2-52.

• The four-section bed base is made up of washable phenolic elements, without sharp edges, removable, in sanitizable material.
